Job summary

Avera St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist (Non-Registered) to operate radiologic equipment and perform CT exams, contributing to efficient department operation and patient care.

You will assist in training staff and students, while applying growth-oriented practices in a dynamic clinical setting. The role requires ARRT CT and R registrations within specified timelines, with hours Monday–Friday, 2PM–10PM, and rotating call weeks.

Qualifications

• Associate's or certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT registration required within hire.
• ARRT (R) registration required within 60 days of receiving a certificate of completion.

Responsibilities

• Operates specialized CT equipment to produce scans of diagnostic quality.
• Performs procedures with proper positioning, format, technique and protocol.
• Coordinates scanning examinations to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Mentors and assists education of students in Radiologic Technology.
• Participates in quality control duties and improvement plans.
• Trains and mentors other staff in CT procedures to grow proficiency.
