Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist South. This full-time Days position requires 36 hours per week with weekend shifts, and includes a sign-on bonus up to $12,000.

The CT Technologist will perform CT procedures, prepare patients, operate and calibrate GE equipment, monitor vital signs, maintain records, and ensure safety and radiation protocols while collaborating with radiologists.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology technologist experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience working in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures in line with established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions.
