Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking CT Technologists to join a fast-paced, technologically advanced imaging team. Positions offer varied shifts, comprehensive benefits starting day one, and up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on FTE.

You will perform CT scans, post-processing, and collaborate with radiologists to tailor protocols to each patient. Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, acquiring detailed patient history, and ensuring accurate documentation

Qualifications

• 1 year general radiology preferred.
• ARRT registry license required.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Advanced CT certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for performance of CT scans and post-processing according to established protocols.
• Transport patients to CT, assist in transfers, and monitor patient condition during CT procedure.
• Collaborate with radiologists to tailor protocols to patient exam requirements.
• Follow CT department workflow: verify orders, document IDs, acquire history, scan, send images to PACS, manage paperwork.
• Position patients correctly using immobilization techniques.
• Perform CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, VR, and MPRs with reconstruction software as needed.
• Initiate IV contrast per policy and ensure IV certification within 3 months of hire.
