Job summary

RadNet in Maryland is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic CT exams, monitor patients during procedures, and administer contrast safely while upholding the highest patient care standards. You will work with a team that prioritizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate communication.

Qualifications

• State licensure, ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) required.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through exam procedures and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and property.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with policies.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
