Job summary

San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform cross-sectional imaging with attention to diagnostic quality and patient safety. The role emphasizes adherence to imaging standards, image transfer, and coordination with radiologists for optimal studies.

The position requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, and BLS. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered Radiography and Computed Tomography NM State Certification for Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a professional and technical level not requiring constant supervision utilizing industry standards.
• Ensures DNV standards and specialty recommendations are met for the CT department.
• Provides knowledgeable understanding of patient prioritizing (e.g., E.D., in-patient, out-patient).
• Understands transfer and viewing of images through the PACS system.
• Understands the ordering system through the RIS (Radiology Information System).
• Maintains, cleans, and restocks CT procedure room as needed.

Education

Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program.

ARRT registered Radiography and Computed Tomography NM State Certification for Radiologic Technology.
