Job summary

UC San Diego Health in San Diego, CA is seeking a CT Technologist or Senior CT Technologist to support our Radiology department. You will operate multi-slice CT scanners, position patients, optimize scanning parameters, and ensure safety and quality throughout each procedure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of radiologic Technology.
• California Radiology Technologist license (CRT-R) or ARRT equivalent.
• Registered CT Technologist (R.T.(CT)(ARRT)) or eligible.
• Venipuncture certification or course completion.
• BART or BLS at hire with plan to obtain within 6 months.
• <3 years in CT or a new grad for CT Tech; ≥3 years for Sr CT Tech.
• Knowledge of radiological computerized systems and PACS/RIS.
• Ability to perform duties with safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust scanning parameters.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and monitor patient safety.
• Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists.
• Maintain accurate procedure records and support multidisciplinary teams.
