Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology team in La Jolla. You will prepare and position patients, operate advanced CT equipment, and ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.

You’ll collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality scans and maintain accurate records. The role offers exposure to complex imaging in an academic medical setting, opportunities for professional growth, and involvement in ongoing protocol

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in CT (R.T.(CT)(ARRT)).
• Venipuncture certification or course completion.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with plan to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT imaging.
• Operate CT equipment, adjust scanning parameters, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
