Job summary

Medical City Saginaw Free Standing ER is seeking a CT Technologist (full-time) to perform CT imaging procedures and support diagnostic workflows. The role includes on-call responsibilities and a $10,000 sign-on bonus; eligibility details provided by recruiters.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or vocational training with CT experience and ARRT CT/MRT/BLS credentials. The department emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with physicians and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or vocational training.
• Prefer at least 1 year of CT experience.
• ARRT(C) or ARRT(N)(CT) certification; MRT; BLS required.
• Must be able to be on-call and respond within 30 minutes of notification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts CT scans and assists in diagnoses.
• Completes patient documentation for CT procedures.
• Provides support to physicians and radiologists during procedures.
• Performs CT scans in a timely and efficient manner.
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the procedure.
• Maintains documentation and uses PACS systems.
• Adheres to safety and aseptic practices to protect patients and staff.
• Keeps knowledge of scanner protocols up to date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The technologistconducts procedures to provide data toassistin the diagnosis of patients. The position's tasks and responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of CT scans assessment and reassessment and implementation of the patient's ordersin accordance withthe department and organizational standards and policies
• Completes patient documentation specific to CT scans
• Assist Physicians and Radiologist during procedures.
• Performs CT scans ina timelyand efficient manner.
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
• Completesappropriate documentationfor each study performed
• Performs all computer and PACS functions
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocolsin order toensure the highest quality procedures
• Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs ofpatientin performance of duties and responsibilities.

1. Specific Requirements

Must be able to be on an on-call status and respond within thirty (30) minutes of notification.

Must be able to work at the main facility, Saginaw FSED, and Haslet FSED, depending on department needs.
