Job summary

Medical City Alliance/Saginaw Free Standing ER is seeking a CT Tech for full-time night shifts (645p-715a Sat, Sun, Mon). You will perform CT scans, prepare patients, assist physicians and radiologists, and ensure safety and quality. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The role requires a technical degree or vocational training, at least 1 year CT experience, ARRT and MRT certifications, and BLS per vendor. On-call within 30 minutes is required; on-site work with HCA's benefits package.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The technologist conducts procedures to provide data to assist in the diagnosis of patients. The position's tasks and responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of CT scans assessment and reassessment and implementation of the patient's orders in accordance with the department and organizational standards and policies
• Completes patient documentation specific to CT scans
• Assist Physicians and Radiologist during procedures.
• Performs CT scans in a timely and efficient manner.
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
• Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed
• Performs all computer and PACS functions
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures
• Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
