Job summary

The hospital in Miles City, MT is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, acquire cross‑sectional images, and assist radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of conditions. CRT certification and ARRT registration are required, with mammography certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months, plus current BLS.

About one year of experience is preferred. Two positions: day shift (7am-6pm with on-call/weekends) and evening/night shift (7pm-5am with weekends).

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and ARRT registration required.
• Mammography certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist physicians and radiologists with examinations and contrast administration.
• Identify patients, verify orders, explain examinations and position patients per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper room setup; assist with stocking and cleaning.
• Support administrative tasks and QA studies as needed.
