Qualifikationen

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Certified to perform Mammography or willing to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of previous experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross sectional images for radiologists.
• Assist physicians and radiologists with examinations and contrast administration as needed.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and position patients per protocols.
• Follow radiation safety principles and protect patients and staff.
• Stock and organize CT room supplies and manage image printing and PACS storage.
• Support quality control and QA studies as part of routine duties.
