Job summary

Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures, image processing, and post-processing under radiologist supervision. You will work across locations, maintain optimized dose protocols, and ensure patient safety according to guidelines.

The role requires a specialty radiologic technology program completion, ARRT CT certification, and at least 5 years of related experience. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and power injectors to acquire diagnostic images.
• Maintain protocols aligned with Image Gently and dose-optimization standards.
• Perform CTA and advanced CT procedures across multiple locations.
• Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, shielding, and protocol adherence.
• Interpret technical factors to balance image quality with dose reduction.
• Collaborate with radiologists and third-party systems for efficient workflow.
