Role Overview: The CT Technologist I performs advanced imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities: Operates CT scanners, injectors, and computer systems to acquire high-quality images, maintaining protocols aligned with safety guidelines.
Ensures proper patient preparation, positioning, and safety measures, including shielding.
Conducts various CT procedures such as CTA imaging, interventional steps, and advanced studies like TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
Maintains knowledge of clinical histories, anatomy, physiology, and physics to optimize scan quality and minimize patient dose.
Interprets technical factors to improve scan speed and quality, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Performs post-processing and monitors dose data to prevent exceeding preset levels.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor’s in a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of multiple CT systems, protocols, pharmacology, anatomy, and physics.
Ability to work across different locations and adapt to advanced imaging technology.
