Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Connecticut Department of Public Health.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields, utilizing patient assessment to produce accurate cross-sectional images, and assisting in complex invasive CT examinations with proper sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire or transfer.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of employment. Failure to obtain certification will result in termination or transfer out of the role.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
