Job summary

Baptist M&S Imaging Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a part-time on-site role in Texas. The candidate will perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and stay current with evolving imaging techniques.

Requirements include an ARRT CT certification, Texas MRT license, CPR, and 2–5 years CT experience. A radiologic technology degree from an AMA-approved program is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelors in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program completed.
• Training in Computerized Tomography - GE VCT required.
• 2–5 years CT experience preferred.
• ARRT with advanced CT certification.
• Texas MRT license required.
• CPR certification required.

Job description

CT Technologist - PT - Baptist M&S Imaging Medical Center

Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages. Requires self motivation to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve. Hours: 7am - 7pm

Required Skills

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Specific Training in Computerized Tomography-GE VCT required
• Two to five years experience specific to CT
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT.
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - (MRT)
• CPR certified.

Required Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
• 0-1 years of experience with competency in components of computed tomography
• Possession of current registry in Radiology and CT
• Possession of current state registration (as applicable to the state in which the position resides)
• AHA BLS required upon hire
• Skilled in starting IV’s and injection of contrast
