Job summary

Baptist M&S Imaging Medical Center in Balcones Heights, TX is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures using CT equipment and provide quality patient care. The role requires self-motivation to expand knowledge as imaging techniques evolve; hours are 7am to 7pm.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT certification, Texas MRT license, CPR, and 2–5 years CT experience; an AMA-approved radiologic program and GE VCT CT training are required. AHA BLS may be required on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved program.
• Specific CT training (GE VCT) required.
• Two to five years CT experience.
• ARRT registration with CT advance certification.
• Texas MRT license.
• CPR certification.

CT Technologist - PT - Baptist M&S Imaging Medical Center

Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages. Requires self motivation to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve. Hours: 7am - 7pm

Required Skills

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Specific Training in Computerized Tomography-GE VCT required
• Two to five years experience specific to CT
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT.
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - (MRT)
• CPR certified.

Required Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
• 0-1 years of experience with competency in components of computed tomography
• Possession of current registry in Radiology and CT
• Possession of current state registration (as applicable to the state in which the position resides)
• AHA BLS required upon hire
• Skilled in starting IV’s and injection of contrast
