Job summary

Hancock Health Gateway seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans, ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. You will follow protocols, assist radiologists, manage patient care from neonatal to geriatric, and contribute to a safe facility environment.

Prerequisites include ARRT certification, Indiana Diagnostic X-Ray license, CPR within 3 months, and strong customer service skills. This role requires on-call availability and collaboration within the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT equipment and pre-exam screening requirements.
• Computer literate with PACS, CR/DR, HIS/RIS systems.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to critique images against standards in SOPs.
• Independent judgment with minimal supervision.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor CT procedures per physician orders and protocol.
• Assist Radiologists, RA’s and other providers.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain follow-up information.
• Maintain safe working environment and adhere to policies.
• On-call and call-back responsibilities as required.
• Assist with sedation and invasive procedures when needed.
