Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Director and Manager of Imaging Services, performs healthcare services by applying x-ray energy and computer techniques for diagnostics or treatment. Performs computed tomography procedures to produce sectional images for interpretation, exercising professional judgment and maintaining ethical conduct. Provides patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for procedure success.

  • Perform computed tomography procedures.
  • Acquire and format exams with proper clinical history.
  • Manage patient volume and examinations.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked department.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Associate Degree.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
  • Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography within 90 days of employment.
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license with Texas Medical Board.
  • Preferred: 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR within 30 days of start date.
