Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Intermountain Medical Center Imaging in Murray, UT. This PRN role covers 10-hour shifts and requires maintaining ARRT competency, imaging excellence, and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include exam performance, safety, patient education, infection control, and accurate documentation. Prior CT experience and proper licensure are preferred to join the imaging team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification and state licensure as required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol and assess image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete studies within allowed timeframes while ensuring patient care.
• Instruct students and colleagues on exam protocols and equipment.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting protocols.
