Candidates must complete an AMA-approved radiology program, hold ARRT certification, CT certification within a year, and maintain BLS.

Qualifications

• AMA approved radiology program completion required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and/or Radiation Therapy required.
• CT certification within one year of employment is required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and explain procedures.
• Operate CT scanner to obtain diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Report to supervisor and follow department procedures.
• Ensure regular attendance and meet age-specific needs of the unit.
