Job summary

TriCities Hospital in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to join our radiology team. You will prepare patients, perform CT procedures, and ensure safety and accurate imaging with ALARA principles.

You will operate Meditech and PACS, administer contrast, perform venipuncture, and support the radiologist in interventional procedures. ARRT CT and BLS are required, with CT experience preferred; this is a PRN opportunity at a 140+ bed facility as part of HCA Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with ARRT registration.
• ARRT (R) and CT registries required; CT registry within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum one year radiologic technology experience; CT experience preferred.
• Must have BLS certification and maintain licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and collects information for CT procedures.
• Performs all CT procedures and observes patient conditions.
• Adheres to ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Operates electronic information systems (Meditech, PACS, PACS cube, eMar).
• Administers contrast media and performs venipuncture when needed.
• Supports radiologist in interventional procedures and QA activities.
