Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic CT exams and monitor patients during procedures. You will guide patients, administer contrast safely, and respond to physicians’ needs while upholding patient privacy and safety.

A strong commitment to patient care and professional interaction with staff is essential. State licensure and ARRT CT certification may be required, with BLS depending on state regulations.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) may be required.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and take appropriate action if needed.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through procedures by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
