Job summary

RadNet in Florida is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams and monitor patients during procedures in a fast-paced radiology setting.

The successful candidate will have ARRT CT credentials (or be eligible), state licensure, and BLS where required, with a focus on patient safety and excellent communication with patients and physicians. Training and advancement opportunities are available as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • State licensure and ARRT CT credentials are required or preferred.
  • BLS certification may be required depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take action.
  • Administer contrast safely and effectively.
  • Guide patients through procedures and answer questions.
  • Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
  • Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
  • Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:
  • Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
  • State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
  • BLS certification depending on state regulations
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range $35-$46 per hour.
