Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Texas is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT scans and radiographs, coordinate imaging services, and ensure patient care aligns with ARRT standards.

The role focuses on efficient throughput, equipment utilization, and safety while supporting a team in a busy imaging department. The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, state licensure, and 1–2 years of CT experience, with a commitment to ongoing training and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification in Radiography and state licensure.
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT - Computed Tomographic procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scan equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Document, on film or in writing, information seen during exam.
• Relay to physicians any relevant patient information.
• Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Performs other department related duties as needed.
• Participates in formal training programs and in-services.
