University Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform a range of CT procedures with independent judgment. You will manage patient load and schedule, ensuring timely, high-quality imaging under the supervision framework.
Applicants must hold ARRT registry and Texas MRT license, with advanced CT certification preferred. Two years CT experience and meeting clinical ladder requirements are essential to qualify for this role.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Makes independent value judgments when supervision is not available. Assumes responsibility for achieving quality work, setting up patient load and maintaining schedules. Has individual responsibility for all CT procedures. Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently. Complies with instructions from the supervisor to whom responsible. Maintains good working relationship with co-workers and other University Health employees, patients, doctors, and guests
Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and Licensed by the State of Texas (MRT) is required. Advanced certification in CT is preferred. CT technologists who are not advanced certified are required to have documentation that they have participated in education that prepares them to achieve advanced CT certification by January 1, 2018.
