University Health is seeking a CT technologist responsible for performing CT procedures with independent judgment and efficiency. The role requires ARRT registry and Texas medical board licensure, with advanced CT certification preferred.
Experience with cross-sectional anatomy is valued, and adherence to the supervisor's instructions is essential. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage patient load, maintain schedules, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Makes independent value judgments when supervision is not available. Assumes responsibility for achieving quality work, setting up patient load and maintaining schedules. Has individual responsibility for specified CT procedures. Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently. Complies with instructions from the supervisor to whom responsible. Maintains good working relationship with co-workers and other University Health employees, patients, doctors, and guests.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists or equivalent, and Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board (TMB) is required. Advanced certification in CT is preferred. CT technologists who are not advanced certified, are required to have documentation that they have participated in education that prepares them to achieve advanced CT certification. One year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist with a working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.
