Job Description

(PRN, Days, Piedmont Macon Medical Center)

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. They perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, providing patient care across all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist, or if less, must have advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Preferred: ARRT advanced certification in CT and BLS certification.
• Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
