Job summary

Baptist Health Imaging in Kentucky seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and related imaging, supporting patient care with a team oriented approach and access to state‑of‑the‑art equipment across our imaging services.

Requirements include completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registry, Kentucky imaging license, advancement ARRT CT within 1 year, 3 years of related experience, and current BLS certification. PRN, days shift.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT Registry in Radiography.
  • Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy license.
  • Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one year of hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs CT procedures and related imaging for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
  • Exercises professional judgment and maintains ethical standards in imaging care.
  • Recognizes patient conditions to provide appropriate care for successful exam completion.

Summary Job Description: CT Tech Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Key Responsibilities

Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
