Responsibilities

Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology procedural protocol and the American College of Radiology. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred. Practice safety guidelines for patients support personnel and themselves. Performs Biopsies and Procedures under the direct supervision of a Radiologist. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency required. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths. On Call hours required as determined by CT Leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required (Minimum Job Requirements, Education Requirements, Experience):

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography Program
• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Associate degree or above preferred
  
  

Licensure/Certification Required

• License in Radiography (R) within Florida
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Radiography
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration in Computed Tomography (CT) within 18 months of start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of start date.
