  • Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) and BLS certifications.
  • Minimum of one year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work in teams.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history to ensure proper procedure execution.
  • Administer contrast media safely, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Identify patients accurately, maintaining privacy and dignity throughout exams.
  • Review images for quality, adhere to clinical standards, and release patients.
  • Respond to emergencies, restock supplies, and maintain equipment hygiene.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients, addressing questions and reducing anxiety.
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Participate in quality control, documentation, and departmental training activities.
  • Coordinate patient transport and support departmental operations.
