Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging with independence and technical proficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT-R/CT, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience; CT experience is preferred. You will operate CT and radiography equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain quality control while supporting transport and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders, obtain histories, administer contrast safely, review images for quality.
• Protect patient privacy, maintain sterile technique, respond to emergencies.
• Explain procedures, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and document accurately.
• Ensure equipment functions correctly, uphold infection control standards, and document activities promptly.
• Support department operations through patient transport, supply management, and clerical tasks.
• Participate in quality control, training, and comply with policies and standards.

Role Overview:

This position involves providing safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services with independence and technical proficiency. The technologist sets up equipment, positions patients, and performs a variety of procedures, including CT and radiography, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifies orders, obtains clinical histories, administers contrast media safely, and reviews images for quality.


• Maintains patient privacy and comfort, adheres to sterile techniques, and responds to emergencies.


• Communicates clearly with patients and staff, explains procedures, and documents accurately.


• Ensures equipment functions correctly, maintains infection control standards, and documents all activities promptly.


• Supports department operations through patient transport, supply management, and clerical tasks.


• Participates in quality control, training, and complies with policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
