Job summary

Premier Radiology is seeking a CT technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and assist physicians with diagnostic decisions, all while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. You will document imaging results for interpretive physicians and medical records.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a radiology program at an accredited school.
• Current ARRT registration.
• State licensure, where required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Competency in venipuncture and aseptic technique.
• Contrast administration and use of a power injector.

Responsibilities

• Provides computed tomography procedures to produce imaging using CT technology.
• Assist Physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis, while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct computerized tomography exams and document clinically appropriate results for interpretive physician and records.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.

POSITION SUMMARY:

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Successful completion of a radiology program at an accredited school
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
• State licensure, where required
• BCLS required
• Competency in venipuncture, aseptic technique, universal precautions and documentation, contrast administration, and use of power injector
