Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. They perform diagnostic CT examinations following prescribed standards under the supervision of a Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year as a Radiological Technologist; if less, must have advanced ARRT certification in CT.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). If less than one year experience, must have ARRT certification in CT.
  • Additional Qualifications: ARRT certification in CT preferred. BLS certified. Six (6) months experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
