Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on radiology and CT. The role involves independent technique execution, maintaining safety, and delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT, and a BLS certification, with at least one year of radiology experience and CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
  • ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
  • BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verify clinician orders and obtain patient histories.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor performance.
  • Ensure radiation safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and department cleanliness and organization.
  • Document procedures and outcomes for records.
  • Support quality assurance and departmental operations.
  • Assist with patient transport when needed.
