Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a skilled CT Technologist to join the PresNow team. You will perform CT imaging with strong patient care and teamwork, and may assist with general radiology or lab tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Current BLS required.
• NM CT license (NMCT) and ARRT CT certification required; if not yet achieved, must obtain ARRT CT and NMCT licensure within 2 years.
• Provisional NM CT license pathway (NMPCT) eligible; pursue CT certification.
• ARRT(R) certification is expected or in process.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes clinical reasoning to manage CT radiograph imaging with safety and efficiency.
• Communicates with patients and staff to address concerns and ensure smooth workflow.
• Educates patients about scanning procedures and obtains informed cooperation.
• Ensures safety checks, labeling, and correct patient‑exam alignment per protocols.
• Supports other departments to optimize patient flow and resource use.

Uses effective communication to escalate concerns to appropriate one up leader. Goes extra mile to attend to patient exam requests.Creates a compassionate, supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff with the aim of promoting comfort and healing and preventing unnecessary suffering or harm. Recognizes patient concern and reacts appropriately, including documentation of events.*Educates patient prior to scanning procedure explaining the procedure and answering patient questions.Involves multidisciplinary team as well as patient/significant others to promote optimal and realistic goals and outcomes. Understands importance of performing necessary safety/calibration/quality checks per established protocols.
