Job summary

Clearview Cancer Institute in north Alabama is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging and assist radiologists in diagnostic procedures. The role includes patient preparation, IV access, contrast administration when necessary, and ensuring image quality.

The ideal candidate holds an ARRT radiology/CT certification, an Associate’s degree in medical technology, and current BCLS certification with at least two years of CT experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and Computed Tomography required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for procedures and position correctly.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IV access.
• Administer contrast material when needed and monitor for reactions.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Schedule patients for procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
• Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshooting.
