Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes. The role requires leadership and collaboration within the medical imaging team to support clinical operations and patient care.

Responsibilities include maintaining ALARA principles, providing patient instructions, and performing IV starts with contrast administration as needed. A strong background in CT imaging and radiology regs is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ARRT (CT), ARRT (T), ARRT (N) or CNMT registry or State CT registry ARRT R with CT training.
• BLS, American Heart Association.
• State Radiology Tech license for those working at a Kansas site.
• Two (2) years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.
• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to ALARA.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
