Job summary

Northwest Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver timely results and support interventional CT procedures.

Qualified candidates typically have 1–2 years of radiologic technology education and 2–4 years CT experience; licensure as a Radiologic Technologist may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiologic sciences experience required.
• 2-4 years CT technologist experience preferred in acute care.
• Licensure or certification as Radiologic Technologist may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during scans.
• Verify orders and screen for contraindications.
• Perform creatinine testing and assess GFR when contrast is used.
• Administer contrast media following safety protocols.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team.
• Support interventional CT procedures and sterile setup.
