Job summary

Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL seeks a CT Technologist to perform interpretive, patient care, and technical duties to support radiologic diagnosis. You will operate CT equipment, review requests, prepare patients, and ensure safe, high-quality imaging.

You will participate in training, assist with medications under physician direction, and adhere to ALARA standards, safety regulations, and department protocols. This full-time night-shift role offers teamwork in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma/Certificate Radiology required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist Licenses required upon hire.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (RTCT) upon hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• RTCT ARRT within 18 months required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations according to department protocol.
• Receives and reviews requests for CT exams.
• Accepts patients and assesses their condition for proper handling.
• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality radiographs.
• Assists in administration of medications under physician direction.
• Explains and prepares patients for CT procedures.
• Sets up and adjusts equipment per radiologist protocol.
• Performs quality controls on images and adheres to safety regulations.
• Participates in training of department personnel and students.
• Performs clerical duties as needed.
