Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited technical program.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist IV License required within 180 days of permit issuance.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (X-Ray) required within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Imaging procedures per physician orders and department protocols.
• Adhere to radiologic requisitions and established standards.
• Perform CT and radiographic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with technologists and ensure high-quality images.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain safety practices and report equipment issues.
