Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a CT Technologist to capture high quality diagnostic images for radiologists. You will image the skeleton, tissues, and organs while ensuring a comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

The role requires knowledge of imaging workflows, patient positioning, and adherence to protocols to keep radiation exposure to a minimum. Candidates should have ARRT registration, WA Radiographer license, CPR, and a radiologic technology background.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with cross sectional anatomy coursework.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) upon hire; WA Radiographer license.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT studies using GE CT scanners and associated equipment.
  • Provide patient care for all ages and liaise with radiologist.
  • Document patient data and ensure scanning parameters minimize radiation exposure.
  • Enter data into the computer system and maintain complete patient records.
  • Perform QA audits and maintain protocol compliance.
