Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region is seeking a CT Technologist to capture precise diagnostic images for Radiologists to diagnose conditions. You will create cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and organs while ensuring patient comfort during the imaging process.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, WA Radiographer license, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• ARRT registered radiographer status required.
• Licensed as WA Medical Radiographer at time of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Runs diagnostic CT studies on GE CT scanners following protocol and safety guidelines.
• Provides patient care across all ages, and communicates with radiologist.
• Documents patient data and incident forms; ensures imaging order accuracy.
• Performs QA audits as assigned.
• Explains procedures to patients and responds to questions.
• Maintains radiation safety to minimize exposure.
