Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images across X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI modalities while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and follow protocols to deliver high-quality results for radiologists to interpret. WA-licensed technologists with ARRT and CPR are preferred. This role is on-site in Washington state and involves care for diverse age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of related work experience.
• WA Medical Radiographer certification upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and operates radiology equipment for requested exposure areas per physician orders and protocols.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Protects patients and staff using proper techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
• Ensures consistency and accuracy of results across exams.
• Cleans equipment after each use and delivers patient care for all ages.
