Qualifications

• Graduate of AART Accredited Radiography program.
• At least 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
• Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Additional CT certification preferred.
• Must possess strong interpersonal/technical skills.
• Demonstrates entry level technical skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Excellent time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Commitment to teamwork and evidence-based protocols.

Responsabilités

• Obtains pertinent clinical information from patient, chart, and physician.
• Applies radiation protection principles; evaluates images for quality.
• Demonstrates confidentiality and positive interpersonal skills.
• Keeps abreast of new procedures and equipment.
• Maintains records for quality control/assurance.
• Assumes responsibility for designated area and instruction.
• Provides quality imaging procedures with strong customer service.
• Maintains competency for all exams and equipment.
• Follows scan protocols and verifies orders.
• Reviews exams for completeness of images.
