Job summary

Talented Medicals Solution is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform CT procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will follow imaging protocols, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide safe patient care.

You may also perform general radiography as needed while maintaining patient comfort and accurate documentation in EMR/RIS/PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
• Current ARRT CT certification or advanced CT certification as required.
• Current state Radiologic Technologist license where applicable.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Venipuncture certification preferred where required.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred or required by facility or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Position patients appropriately and explain imaging procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media when required in accordance with facility policies and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure all required imaging is completed prior to submission for interpretation.
• Transfer and verify images through PACS and other imaging systems for radiologist review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR), RIS, and PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
