Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team in North Carolina. You will prepare and position patients, operate CT equipment, and work with physicians to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds an ARRT CT certification (or within 6 months of hire), an ARRT-approved Radiography program, and IV credentialing, with a state license and Life Support training. Prior CT experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

  • ARRT CT certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • ARRT-approved Radiography Program or ARRT/NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program is required.
  • IV credentialing is required.
  • State license to practice is required.
  • Life Support Training per Novant Health policy is required.
  • One year CT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety standards in line with First Do No Harm.
