Job summary

Novant Health seeks a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will prepare patients, operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images, and adapt procedures for age-specific needs, with attention to accuracy and patient safety.

The role involves collaborating with radiologists and staff to deliver exceptional care in a patient-centered environment, aligning with our quality standards and safety principles.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and radiology program completion.
• Preferred Associate Degree.
• Inpatient JCERT-accredited radiology program required for inpatient settings.
• If CT-registered, not required at hire but CT post-primary certification must be completed within 12 months (18 months for CT tech roles).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly.
• Safely operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Adapt procedures to meet patient-specific needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care.
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment aligned with First Do No Harm.
