Job summary

Adventist Health in Oregon seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging. You will operate CT equipment, produce cross-sectional images, and utilize PACS/teleradiology to transfer studies to radiologists for interpretation.

The role includes maintaining records, upholding HIPAA, and performing routine maintenance and supply management. The ideal candidate has an ARRT CT certification, BLS, and preferred CT advanced cert; a radiation license in the state may be required.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • ARRT certification required: R.T. (R) (CT) or R.T. (R) (ARRT).
  • Advanced Certification in CT required in OR and HI; preferred in CABasic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR; Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
  • Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
  • Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
