Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, OR seeks a CT Radiologic Technologist to operate CT and other imaging modalities, producing diagnostic cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. The role uses PACS and teleradiology to transmit images and requires adherence to HIPAA and data privacy guidelines.

ARA RT-CT certification and BLS are required; ARRT-CT and BLS certification are essential, with knowledge of fluoroscopy and venipuncture preferred in some states.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required or preferred.
• ARRTCertification (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT(R) - ARR T) required.
• BLS certification required.
• CT certification required in OR and HI; preferred in CA.
• Fluoroscopy license may be required or preferred depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence to geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains patient records, files and billing information with HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance/calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
