Job summary

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to capture diagnostic CT images and support Radiologists in accurate diagnoses. The role emphasizes patient care, cross-sectional imaging of anatomy, and strict adherence to imaging workflows.

You will maintain equipment, ensure safety, and facilitate a smooth imaging process while upholding infection control standards and logging procedures. This on-site position is based in Houston, Texas.

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT certification
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT) within 9 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Medical Radiographer license/permit for TX at hire

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams on patients according to departmental procedures under the Medical Director’s direction
• Prepares equipment and ensures it is operational and safe for diagnostic standards
• Troubleshoots equipment failure and imaging quality issues; contacts service when needed
• Maintains infection control standards and keeps equipment logs and room maintenance
• Completes clinical supply inventories to ensure each diagnostic room is stocked
